Petrophysical Attributes, A vs. B Crossplots (Intersect vs. Gradient)
As we already know, A and B values (Intersect and Gradient) are a proved good method for Hydrocarbon indicators detection, especially those with gas.
Starting from gathers and after AVO analysis, we can create A multiplied by B volumes showing color values along all dimensions of the area, helping locate anomalies (in special, Class III anomalies) more accurately inside the volume under research.
From this data, obtained after processing both values, we produce graphs and crossplots which make it possible a detailed reading of possible targets, according analysis trends. Additionally, several other volumes are generated, showing Scaled Poisson's Ratio and other attributes, particularly useful to highlight amplitude anomalies.
